Licensing and insurance

Work is performed by independent local land clearing contractors working with Tyler Land Clearing, under their own licenses and insurance where required.

Tips before any work starts

• Ask whether the contractor carries liability insurance, and ask for proof.
• Get the scope in writing: area, stump removal, debris handling, and cleanup.
• Ask what equipment they will use and the largest tree size it handles.
• Clarify payment terms and whether there is a minimum charge or mobilization fee.
• Mark trees you want saved with flagging tape before work begins.
• Know where underground utilities run (call 811 before any digging).
